Media bias is very subtle, which is what makes it so dangerous.

Yesterday there was a shooting at the Family Research Council in Washington, DC.  A guard was wounded and thankfully it appears that he will be ok.  Apparently, his efforts, being described as heroic, stopped the shooter from hurting or killing more people.

If you have never heard of the Family Research Council, they are a Christian, pro-family, pro-marriage, anti-abortion lobbying organization started 30 years ago by James Dobson. But you would hardly know that if you get your news from CNN, NBC or ABC. Heck, good luck even finding the story!  Turns out that the shooter was a volunteer for a local GLBT organization, and according to an FBI affidavit was shouting his distaste for FRC policies as he opened fire.  Among his personal property when he was arrested – 15 Chick-fil-a sandwiches and more ammunition in his backpack. Now, I’m not suggesting that the shooter represents this local GLBT group or that somehow they condone violence against the FRC, but picture how the story would be different if the tables were turned.

Where too is the anti gun crowd shouting from the rooftops?  Simple possession of a handgun inside Washington, DC is a serious crime.  But I forgot, less guns = more safety.  (See Chicago)

By the left’s definition, this is also hate crime, and they should be calling for its prosecution with the same fury and passion they do with other crimes.

Make no mistake about it, the traditional family is under attack, this time violently.  And while the story is on the top of FoxNews.com, good luck knowing anything else about it from other sources.

What would that headline be if a Christian shot a guard at the GLBT offices?
